This was a project to take a qualitative perspective on a large body of text. The idea here was to float up the words that occurred most frequently in the text, while also allowing the user to search for a specific word of interest. The size of the word represents the frequency of that word relative to the others. By clicking on a word, the user is able to see all instances of that word in context below.
Currently, this is pulling from one chapter of United Nations Development Programme's (UNDP) large scale study on income inequality in sub-Saharan Africa, but this method can be applied to any text.
